What it means to be an ethical breeder

Considering ourselves a responsible, ethical breeder means that we hold ourselves to very high standards. These standards include early desensitization and socialization and the preservation of genetic integrity which includes health testing of all breeding dogs, providing regular vet visits, emergency care as needed, providing a safe and loving environment, providing exposure to different sounds, textures, smells, experiences, and enrichment from birth to ensure a well-rounded, sweet, and healthy dog. The well-being of our dogs is always our number one priority. We will never re-home any of our breeding dogs regardless of them being retired or working.

Our family

We are a family of 10, two humans and eight fur babies (four dogs, one with special needs, two cats, a rabbit, and a horse)! There is never a dull moment! Maddie graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, where she was accompanied by her beloved dog, cat, and horse. She then graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Clara graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Modern Jewish Studies. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have an absolute passion for our fur babies and all animals.

In our free time we enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, glamping, going on adventures with the animals, listening to Taylor Swift, horseback riding, or gaming (Disney Dreamlight Valley, Animal Crossing, Kirby, or Mario Brothers)!

In our haven of warmth where Cavalier bonds intertwine, Andromeda dances, a spirit so fine. Draco, the brave, with a heart full of light, Lavender follows, a vision of delight.

Elmo, the gentle giant, a Great Pyrenees and Gold, with a heart full of courage, his personality bold. Albus, the regal Ragdoll, with fur soft as snow, moves with elegance, a quiet grace in tow.

Poppy, our torti, a rescue with spark, fills our lives with laughter and leaves love’s warm mark. Lumos, the rescue Hotot mix rabbit, with a hop so bright, bounds through her private room, a cute fluffy sight. King, the Andalusian horse, noble and grand, with spirit unyielding, he takes a stand.

Together they flourish, a vibrant array, our cavaliers, bred ethically, guide our way - for in their pure hearts, our passion is found. A legacy of love, where true joy abounds.
